Brad Owen is a husband and father of five.  His mother is a second-generation Lebanese American whose mother and father came to the US in the early 20th century.

Brad’s father is part Kurdish and Iraqi who came to the U.S. in 1952 and became a proud citizen.

Though Brad grew up as an American outside Chicago, his parents brought their Middle Eastern culture through food.  He planned what would be celebration type foods bringing honor to the guests.

With joy, Brad led a team of five other “foodies” to cook Lebanese cuisine at the LOVE > FEAR art reception and gallery opening on Sept. 9.
