Heba a Yemeni girl, currently residing in U.S. In May 2015 she and her family fled war to Djibouti, 15 hours by sea, 350 person on a boat, the majority of women and children.
Her family stayed in a refugee camp for two months where she worked as Hygiene Promoter for an international organization. In Yemen, she was a volunteer administration assistant for a local foundation providing violence rehabilitation programs for women and minorities.
After that she worked with as a Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant for another international organization.
Heba is taking courses focused on refugee and forced migration. Fuse’s Fear > Love event gives here a chance to do what she loves: Care for refugees.
